LARGE BOOKCASE
This bookcase is really two pieces, the base and the shelves. The bookcase shelves sit on the base. The base has four double hinged doors and four drawers. The drawers are built with fine hand cut dovetails. I first designed this bookcase in 1975. I liked the proportions and over the years have built three similar pieces. This is a large piece of furniture. The top will hold quite a few books, and the base offers a lot of out-of-sight storage. |
